I am taking basically an empty suitcase. I want to but all my summer clothes there and also i want to get some fitness gear (ie weightlifting belt, boxing gear) Does anyone know where would be the best place to get this stuff?

The largest fitness equipment store in Shanghai is located at Shanghai hongkou district dalian road 1079 (the peace park).
All the international brand fitness equipment are all on sale. If you go there, you are bound to be satisfied.

1. if you want to buy cheap clothing, shops, accessories, you can go to piqu road, up to the 3 or 4 floor there are the things for foreign trade business, some are pretty with good quality, by the way, 580 West Nanjing Road also a good choice.
2. you can also find zara, h&m, mango, c&a…all those international chains on E. Nanjing Road and in malls.
3. don’t buy luxury stuffs in shanghai…ridiculous price..
